Dr.Feras Ashouri

 

 Dr. Ashouri is a UK board certified orthopedic hip and knee consultant surgeon. Currently, practicing in Qatar at a Aman hospital, as the head of orthopedic department, with a specialist interest in hip and knee arthroplasty (primary, robotic assisted, complex and revision), knee sports injuries and ligament reconstruction, and trauma.
Prior to this post, he worked as a consultant orthopaedic surgeon at New Mowasat hospital, Kuwait, where he introduced multiple new services to the Kuwaiti healthcare industry, such as, day case Total hip and Total knee replacement.
Dr. Ashouri has also had experience at consultant level in the UK, working at East Lancashire hospitals NHS Trust.
Dr. Ashouri has a special interest in personalised TKR/THR, AMIS THR and iKA TKR.
He is dual fellowship trained. His first as a British Orthopedic Association fellow in complex trauma, lower limb reconstruction and pelvis & acetabulum, followed by a post CCT senior lower limb arthroplasty fellowship with wide exposure and ample experience gained in complex hip and knee reconstruction and revision surgery. Both fellowships done at the James Cook University hospital, UK.
He is a member of the British Orthopedic association, the British hip society and the Orthopaedic Trauma society (UK).
Dr. Ashouri is licensed to practice at the consultant level in the UK, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Dubai, and also practices as a visiting surgeon in Amman, Jordan.
